Onewhero Golf Course
APS Civil delivered a comprehensive civil works package for Onewhero Golf Club, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal across the course. The project included approximately 2km of cut pathways, ranging from upgrades to existing routes through to the construction of entirely new paths in previously undeveloped areas.
Project Overview
Key elements of the project included:
- Installation of stabilising mesh, boxing, and webbing on steep sections of the course to ensure path stability and long-term durability
- Hand-formed gabion rock swales for effective water control and erosion prevention
- Construction of a new tee block and rerouting of irrigation systems to improve course playability
- Upgrades to the clubhouse area, including golf cart parking and improved usable space, enhancing accessibility and overall presentation
